Situated in upmarket Winston Park, Misty Ridge is approximately midway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. Only 52km from King Shaka International Airport and 20 minutes away from Durban’s beaches. 10 minutes to industrial and commercial areas of Pinetown, New Germany, Westmead and Hammarsdale.

Misty Ridge has gone to great lengths not to leave you in the dark as far as possible.
We found that burst municipal water pipes and reservoirs running dry due to load shedding were ongoing problems over the years.
Fortunately, Misty Ridge has not been faced with this problem since we invested in the infrastructure to rededicate the problem of not having water. We currently have sixteen 5000 litre tanks together with two underground tanks for storing water. In total, we store 89000 litres of water purified on site, which is very high quality.
Because of the measures we took to prevent the loss of no power at Misty Ridge, our water system is fully functional during load shedding without having to run the generator.
We are proud to say that Misty Ridge has gone to great lengths in making sure that our guests are not sitting in the dark. In 2010 we installed a 68 kVA generator that can run the entire establishment. In 2022 we took the decision to go with solo and inverters to add value for our guests.
At all times the B&B Suites now have working Lights, TV’s and Wi-Fi.
